Coleview Pre-School Committee
Our Committee consists of Pre-School parents (past and present) and meet roughly once a term to discuss and organise our events.
We currently have nine members and would love to welcome anyone who can give up a little bit of their time to help support an ‘outstanding’ Pre-School. The more Committee members, the lighter the load!
Coleview Pre-School is a registered charity (No:1035572) and in their bespoke setting, the Pre-School need to raise additional funds just to keep the facility open and running. For example, the rent, electricity, water, phone lines and internet all need to be paid for.
We try to make fundraising fun so mainly organise events and handmade keepsakes personalised by your child. Previous events include band nights, quiz nights, sponsored walk/bug hunt, kids disco, personalised coasters, keyrings and Christmas baubles. At least once, during your childs’ time at Pre-school, you will have the option to buy a tea towel, which is professionally printed and personalised with all the childrens’ hand prints.
With a lot of these events, we run a raffle and are in constant look out for raffle prizes, whether this is an unwanted gift donated by a parent or vouchers donated by local businesses, for example, meal vouchers, vouchers for local shops etc. If you are in a position to approach your place of work regarding fundraising, please ask them, we have previously had lump sum donations from BMW, Honda and TYCO electronics.
We are constantly looking at new ways to raise money, so even if you cannot commit to joining the committee there are plenty of other ways to support us.
We are extremely lucky to have the support of Coleview Community Centre, where we host our meetings and larger night time events.

The Pre-School need a constant supply of household products. They are not fussy about brands and any donations would be a MASSIVE help.
